    For awhile now, APL v0.4 has been in a functional state, and I’ve spent about a month testing it in production, and at this point I feel fairly comfortable with it. Been holding off on calling it a beta release until I have a few more small touches added; primarily the built-in documentation.

    You can check out the recent download on GitHub Branch v0.4.

    These are just a few of the most notable changes…

    * Changed Preset object to use APL_Post_List & APL_Design post data database structure; adds multiple built-in improvements & support.
    * Changed to Custom Admin Menu.
    * Added New Admin templates and multiple UI changes.
    * Added Post_Type ‘Any’.
    * Changed ‘Require Taxonomy’ to ‘Require Taxonomies’ as a Post Type based filter instead.
    * Added Sort by ‘None’ and ‘Slug’.
    * Added Post Status filter by ‘None’ and ‘Any’.
    * Added Perms filter by ‘None’.
    * Added additional Notice to front-end if attribute ‘name’ in [post_list] is invalid or missing.
    * Changed General Settings to Settings API w/ Meta Boxes.
    * Changed/Fixed Exporting and Importing.
    * Added Internalization for translations.

    For v0.4, the primary focus was the Admin UI which needed to be improved and standardized. The other change was the Database structure, which is a bit more behind the scenes, but originally APL had been using WP_Options which missed out on many of the built in features WP has. For the most part, v0.4 gave APL a much needed new look, and the UI & UX seem to be much more enjoyable.
