• API Server Problem:

I already have my API Key but the problem is that I still can’t install plug-ins that requires the said key. When I tried to install Akismet, and then entered my API Key in the box provided.. But then, this thing appeared:
“Akismet is almost ready. You must enter your WordPress.com API key for it to work.”

    And also…

“There was a problem connecting to the Akismet server. Please check your server configuration.”

    Here is the screen shot.

  • This is the exact problem I am having. Have you gotten a resolution for it?

    Please check your server configuration.

And did you do what was advised?
    Also, the search works: http://wordpress.org/support/topic/123727?replies=3

Error from last API Key attempt:

The owner of that API Key (penseelibre1) is not on the access list for this blog (4376771). To be added to the access list, you must contact support.
    really impossible :
i have had in an another live 2 blogs in .com, then another now hosted. so i have 2 API, and i do not know when i have to use one or another : please 1 API new if you want and only 1 identity enough : the 2 identities

I am also getting the same error message after upgrading to WordPress 2.6.2 Akismet worked fine under 2.6.1 (and I de-activated Akismet before upgrading).
I do not understand how to check my server configuration. Could you be more specific, Moshu?
