# API Rejected

 * Hi! This happened about a year ago, but seemed to resolve itself. After upgrading
   to the latest version of WordPress, the same problem has returned.
   When I’m in
   the backend and add the map block, a blank block is added, but when trying to
   add a location, it says‘The IP/device is not authorised to use the API’. I’m 
   not sure what’s going on. It was certainly OK before the WP update. Can you offer
   any suggestions? I know the API is correct as it works elsewhereThanks, Steve

 * Hi, we didn’t make any changes to the plugin, nor are we aware of any WP-related
   changes that could cause this. A stupid but relatively fast fix – new API key
   🙁

 * API key is saved per-site so changing on one block will affect all other blocks.
   So either all work or none.
