 * _How can you find your API number if it is not on your profile page?
    I need 
   it to activate the plugin to catch **spammers**. Any Help will be appreciated.

 * You are failing to READ.
 * Seriously, if you just [READ THIS PAGE](http://wordpress.com/api-keys/) and actually
   understand it, then you would not have this problem.
 * I mean, what part of “When you [sign up for a WordPress.com account](http://wordpress.com/signup/)
   we will email you an API key.” is unclear, exactly? This is not rocket surgery.
 * Your actual issue is that you keep looking at YOUR BLOG when you should instead
   [SIGN UP ON WORDPRESS.COM](http://wordpress.com/signup/), and look at your profile
   page [ON THAT SITE](http://dashboard.wordpress.com/wp-admin/profile.php) to get
   the API key. Then you can plug it in on your own site.
