    Thank you for getting in touch, sorry to hear you are experiencing issues.

    Our plugin links to both of those pages, the former can be seen on the “No Google Maps API key set” warning panel, which would have gone away once you put your key in. That link is only visible if you have an empty API key field in Maps -> Settings -> Advanced.

    The link to the Google Developers console can be found in the Google API section of our plugins Advanced Settings panel, which is relevant to the fields there.

    If you feel this is misleading and needs changing in any way please let us know.

    If you have purchased a Cloud API key through us, you won’t see it in your Google console as we manage the keys, we do not and indeed cannot create keys for your account as we have no access to your account.

    You will only see keys you have created yourself there.

    If you have made a purchase and require further assistance, we would please ask you to open a ticket on our support desk as this forum is strictly for support with the plugin and not any of our additional products.

    This is VERY misleading!!!!!!!!!!!!!

    This client insists on me not having logins to his stuff for security reasons…..which is fine. But that puts me in a spot of looking over his shoulder and figuring stuff out on the spot which means I don’t get to read everything as closely as I normally would. I NEVER would have him put his card in YOUR site. AND the api you sent us didn’t work!!!!!!!!!!

    What you said above is true but it makes it look like that is the correct and only link to get the api which is not true. AND IT DIDN’T WORK!!!!

    I suggest you make this more clear in your plugin. Maybe say you can get your api directly through google here… or you can get it through us here…

    The bottom line. You made me look like a complete idiot in front of a GOOD client that should have a TON of on going work for me. All over a silly api code.

    He will be contacting you for a refund and I expect he won’t have any trouble or I’ll be back.
