# Api key problem

 * i just set up a wordpress blog on my site, and it’s saying my Api key is incorrect,
   but it’s the one i just got from my new account on WordPress, any idea why this
   may be and how i can resolve the problem.
 * My blog section’s adress is

 * The section isn’t linked from the main site’s side yet, but it is linked to main
   site.

 * It’s actually because I’m trying to configure the api key for the akismet plug
   in…. i forgot to say that – it just keeps saying API key incorrect in the configure
   Akismet box

 * You don’t need to “configure” the API key. Just copy and paste carefully!

 * I’ve actually typed it in as well as copying and pasting it, and no joy …..
 * I don’t suppose they could be tracking whether it’s a commercial site or not?
