# API Key Not Working On Some Plugins

 * I just installed the Askimet plugin on my self hosted blog and it accepted my
   API key first time. I then installed WP-Stats but it won’t accept the exact same
   API key. I have tried multiple times but it keeps telling me to get a key.
    What
   could possibly be causing this please?
