# API key lost

 * I’m desperate about my API key.
    I lost it and I’m following every support steps,
   but I can’t recover it yet. API key, after support, should appear in my profile,
   but there are not. Please, someone could help me? Thanks.

 * You should read more carefully!
    The API key appears in your wordpress.**COM**
   profile not in your admin panel. In the admin > Plugins page where the plugins
   are listed you will find a clickable link under Akismet > APIKey. Why didn’t 
   you click it?

 * I have a wordpress blog installed on my own domain and I cannot find the API 
   Key.
 * I am trying to install akismet and have done so but it says that it needs the
   API Key which is nowhere to be found. I’ve looked in MY profile – and it isn’t
   there.
