# API Key Invalid

 * Hi, I’ve signed up at WP.com, and have installed my WP blog. I put my API key
   so I can use akismet, but it says its invalid! I have copied and pasted it EXACTLY
   and have tried many times, but it still is “invalid”.
 * Please help!

 * Often when this issue crops up, the solution tends to be “wait a day or two,”
   as there seems to be a delay at times for a key to be recognized.
