In Premium Version- Does Apple Pay Option Bypass Shipping Calculator?

I’m thinking of purchasing the premium version so I can have apple pay capability. With the official woocommerce stripe plugin, i noticed that the google and apple pay options bypass the shipping calculator on my site. If it’s enabled on the checkout page, does it base the shipping charge off the checkout information? Or does it bypass the calculated shipping rates?
