Can I get an API key for multiple client websites ?

How do I go about this ?

As it says to log into WordPress.com

Can I get multiple API keys as a Developer under my one account ?

    Thx

    Hi Kristin:

Akismet uses WordPress.com user accounts for account management, so you would need to log into a WordPress.com account to purchase a plan.

If you have more than 10 client sites, our Enterprise plan would be the most economical choice as you can have unlimited sites under a single API key.

    Hi

    Thanks for your quick reply.

Most of my clients are NOT using Posts as such (no blog etc).. Just standard info web pages.

Just with the Contact Form – does this plugin help with spam from bots entering junk in the Contact Form ?

I already have a Captcha code, but still getting through.

I thought your plugin would help with that . Could you confirm exactly what your plugin will cover on standard websites (and shopping cart websites).

    Thx

    Hi Kristin:

If you’re using Jetpack or Gravity Forms for your contact form, those plugins are set up to work with Akismet automatically. If you use Contact Form 7, that plugin needs additional configuration to work with our spam checking service.

Akismet checks for comment and contact form spam. If you have questions about your specific websites, we’d need to take a closer look to see if the software or plugin you’re using has an existing integration with our service. You can check our full list of known integrations here.

If you want to keep your sites private, please contact us here and I or one of my colleagues would be happy to continue answering your questions there:

I my forms I use are Fast Secure Contact Form.

It does use Akismet, however, it appears that this plugin is not longer available in the WordPress.org plugin directory:
    https://wordpress.org/plugins/si-contact-form/

Doing a bit of research, it was removed due to some malicious code being added by a new owner and the original plugin developer advises you no longer use this plugin:
    https://wordpress.org/support/topic/fs-contact-form-no-longer-in-wp-market/?#post-9520284

I would recommend Contact Form 7 or if you use Jetpack to use Jetpack’s contact form as both are free to use.

    I hope that clarifies things!
