• Hello I am having a issue loading my Facebook Posts onto my WordPress page. Currently I have put in all the info needed and created a facebook app and I am still getting the “Not Connected” It was working on another page I was streaming and once I changed the Facebook ID to the other posts I wanted it stopped working. I hope this makes sense.

thank you for your support and Widget.

  • I’m having a similar issue trying to integrate your widget onto my client’s WordPress page. I created a FB app and tested the Site URL to make sure it’s correct, I’m using the numeric FB user id because those seem to work better, and I’ve renewed the cache and the access token many times, but the API status still says Not Connected (clicking the Access Token button shows no error message but just refreshes the page). In addition, any time I try to visit the Site URL it redirects me to the WP Dashboard if I’m logged into FB, and a FB Login page that then takes me to the WP Dashboard if I’m not.
The client’s site is at http://project20something.com, any thoughts on what the problem might be? Deactiving the RFB widget fixes the redirect problem (I’ve left it deactivated so the site can be accessed without a FB login; the RFB widget is supposed to go where the Twitter Widget is currently).

Thanks for the great widget and the support.

@rbgraphics, try renewing the access token and emptying the cache.

@slimdesign, I have an idea what is causing the issue but it sounds like a true bug. I’ll have to take a good look into it. Thanks for your extensive description, I’ll try to push a fix out as soon as possible!

    Thanks, Danny.

I am having the same problem as @slimdesign. However, I notice that he/she has managed to get the widget working on their http://project20something.com site. Any word on a solution to this issue?

Should’ve mentioned that this is WordPress 3.5 and plugin version 1.1.1

The one that’s working on my site is actually a different plugin (called FBF- Facebook Page Feed Widget). I’m using it temporarily until I can find a fix for this one, which I like better because it’s cleaner, more controllable, and allows you to show Like and Comment buttons on the status updates.
