    Hi
    We provide hosting services.
And on most of our clients’ servers in your plugin they receive these errors.
(API: cURL error 35: OpenSSL SSL_connect: SSL_ERROR_SYSCALL in connection to smushpro.wpmudev.org:443)
Thank you for your help. Do I need to make any special changes to the server? Or is there a problem with your plugin?
I can provide you with a hosting account to test.

I have set up this site for testing and I am still receiving errors

    Hi @novelman

Sorry to hear you are having this issue,

It is a reported issue being caused at random times, could you try to re-smush now and check if the issue is gone?

I also pinged our developers to verify the status of their troubleshooting.

Let us know the result you got.
    Best Regards

    Hi @novelman

Could you add this definition to your wp-config file:
define('WP_SMUSH_TIMEOUT', 150) and see will that help with your current issue on the site with 2 images that timeout now?

The line should be placed above the “/* That’s all, stop editing! Happy blogging. */”

    As for the main issue:
API: cURL error 35: OpenSSL SSL_connect: SSL_ERROR_SYSCALL in connection to smushpro.wpmudev.org:443 I could not replicate this anymore on your site and I got confirmation from our devs this was a temporary issue on our side.

    Kind Regards,
    Kris
