• Hi there,

I am sure I an not only one who is using nginx and apache to process .htaccess files for sites that rely on them, but here is the thing.

WordFence incorrectly detects server config and says that I need to edit my nginx site conf. Well that is all well and good except for the fact that I have apache as well to process .htaccess files, so at this point I have WF url with nginx config which I don’t actually need.

Is there any way that WF would also provide .htaccess conf for this kind of case or let user manually select server config? Addition for better detection would be great!

I have managed to sort it and get .htaccess config from another site (running with same config apache + nginx, but WF inserted htaccess conf on that site for some reason).

Fresh WP latest install with only WF.
