Anyone know how to change script to support Chinese, Japanese, Korean Character?

I just installed “WP NEWS SLIDER” down loaded from (http://www.jnsdirect.com/wordpress/wp-admin/plugin-install.php?tab=plugin-information&plugin=wp-news-slider&TB_iframe=true&width=640&height=474).
It is a great script but does not seem to support Asian Language Characters (i.e. Chinese, Japanese, and Korean)
Does anyone know how to change script(widget) to make it work with Asian Language Characters (i.e. Chinese, Japanese, and Korean)?
