Support » Plugin: Paid Memberships Pro » Anyone direct me to page/post generation?

I’d like a member registration to be associated with a post or page (doesn’t matter since my site is purely CMS, not a blog). The new subscriber’s “personal page” would be visible to him and only him for the duration of his membership. It would be built in WP from a custom template into which data from user input at the time of registration would be inserted.

For example: User joe sigs up to be a “member of” (really a subscriber to) one of our streaming apps. When he does so, this would create a post only for him to see with the stream he has subscribed to.

I believe this can be done with PMP and I’m excited to get going on it but I sure could use a few tips — I know how to generate a post from WordPress function, so I weant to know how to make a member registreation/signup trigger that. And I also will need to tie this new post/page to that single member. Can do?

  • a bit more info: Not only would the member’s private page show him the stream, but this would also give him the ability to download it and run it on his own site.

The stream will run only on and on the page URL the subscriber/member enters on our form.

When/if he cancels, that notification would alert us to “turn off” access to that stream on his site. That connection to our database would be manual at first, but eventually I hope to code a cancellation to the stream engine’s API …

This could be tremendous fun 🙂

John, thanks for signing up for support at I’ve followed up with you there.

I’ll add here that we have a plugin, PMPro User Pages, that does the “personal page” thing here:

    Excellent! Thanks.
