Hi there!
I don’t see that on your site at th emoment. Could describe the exact steps you take to get that to happen, and where I might be able to see it on your site?
Hi there, first of all thanks so much for the hard work you do on this amazing plugin!
To be honest I’m not so sure this is related to your plugin. I don’t know why but it doesnt happen with every article, for example if you try to share this link on facebook: http://www.technomanifesto.it/2014/07/pioneer-rivela-i-dettagli-del-nuovo-giradischi-plx-1000/
you will see what I’m talking about.
The website works perfectly and it doesnt show any weird type, the problem affects only Facebook sharing, so no Twitter o G+.
sometimes it gets fixed if I delete the cache, but not everytime.
It’s a big problem for me since I don’t want that my customers see this when they share my articles 🙁
Ah, I see the problem now!
I passed that article through Facebook’s Debug tool:
https://developers.facebook.com/tools/debug/og/object?q=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.technomanifesto.it%2F2014%2F07%2Fpioneer-rivela-i-dettagli-del-nuovo-giradischi-plx-1000%2F
As you can see, it gives this error:
Object at URL ‘http://www.technomanifesto.it/2014/07/pioneer-rivela-i-dettagli-del-nuovo-giradischi-plx-1000/’ of type ‘website’ is invalid because a required property ‘og:title’ of type ‘string’ was not provided.
The problem is, the og:title tag IS provided. I am not sure why Facebook is giving this error, though I have run across it before. In any case, it’s not caused by WP Super Cache.
Since you’re using All in One SEO Pack to generate the Open Graph (og) tags, maybe ask them if they can help you with this:
http://wordpress.org/support/plugin/all-in-one-seo-pack
Meanwhile, I will mark this thread as “resolved” since it isn’t a WP Super Cache issue, but please do let me know if you find a possible solution with AIOSEO.
Thanks!
Thanks mate you are so kind.
Sure, I’ll let you know if they come back. I promise!
Thanks a lot and keep going that way! 🙂
