[resolved] Any way to have user input custom ranges? (4 posts)

    Hi,

I'd first like to say that this plugin is solid and has been very useful to me. I was just wondering if there was a way to have the user put in custom ranges. If it's a price range for example, the user can type in their own range.

    Thanks,
    Gerald

    Hi,
It it can be done, but there are no easy ways to do this without editing the plugin file.

    hi Mintcheerios

I achieved this by adding a custom field with a radio style selection of fixed price ranges -
    eg. 1 -100 , 100-200 , 200 - 500
I select the radio button when adding (in my case) a new post.

My users select a price range as one of the search fields.

    Hope this helps.
