Support » Plugin: Download Monitor » Any way to get a download's permalink from the admin side?

My admin users frequently want to upload a file to plugin, and then be able to share that download’s permalink with an email list, etc. I find it sort of strange that there’s no obvious way to grab that permalink from the admin side of things. It appears that the only way to get to it is to create a widget or shortcode and copy the link that is created on the front-end of the site.

Is there any way to display or discover a download’s permalink in the admin that I’m not seeing?

  • This is really strange to me.. There’s no way to figure out the “permalink” of a download to send to a friend, post in an email, etc, without creating the widget and copying the link that it creates.
