No way to export at this time.

Make sure CSV fields with string data is double-quoted and that your PHP/site character set is UTF-8. This is a server-side settings in MySQL.

Does this mean putting each of the ® in double quotes on the csv like this? “” ® “” ?

No, the entire string… “Blah blah ® “, “19 Main Street”,

Those characters should remain, but it is all in the character encoding set for PHP and MySQL. WordPress picks up the cues from those underlying services to determine how to handle special characters. Plugins & themes can override this.

SLP does not do anything special with character encoding, we just rely on the WordPress defaults.

yes, everything is as you typed above. and everything loads fine except the ® ..which doesn’t show at all. I can manually add the ® in the manage locations screen and then they appear. But they won’t load from a bulk upload.

here’s a sample of the csv..with about 130 in all.

“David Gray, CFP®, CDFA™ “,”Finance Arts, LLC”

everything is reading fine except the ® and the ™

    registered trademark and trademark symbols.

    Theme is graphene.

    map is at

    thanks much for your help.

So does that mean we can’t export any data to CSV?

This would be an ideal way for us to backup the map data (which we’ve painfully uploaded).

On the reports tab, at the top, I can’t seem to get the report to do anything. Nothing shows on screen and it doesn’t export a CSV either.

There’s also a button on the reports tab which says “Export to CSV”. That doesn’t seem to do anything either.

PS This is a wonderful plugin. Thanks!!!

Turn on reporting under the general settings tab.

This is data intensive as each search writes TWO records to the data tables, so it is off by default.
