    Hi,
    I’m wondering if there’s any functionality on Custom Post Types UI that does something similar to:

    ‘taxonomies’ => array(‘category’, ‘post_tag’),

    in functions.php. Basically, is there any way to display taxonomy boxes other than the custom ones created in CPTUI? I’ve scoured the web for a similar solution and can’t seem to find one.

    You should be able to add post type support for any public taxonomy, including the out of box categories/tags, out of the box with CPTUI. It’ll be at the end of the right column on the post type edit settings screen in the current version.

    Got it, thanks. It was enabled, but then hidden in the Advanced Custom Fields plugin.

    Good to hear you found things.
