    I want to disable a meta and read more link on a single post and I cannot figure it out.

    I tried using this kind of css in the article “in the html tab”:

    .class {
       display: none;
    }

    but it disabled it for all posts instead of just one. any way to disable it for just one post?

    You’d have to do it like this:

    .postid-x .class {
       display: none;
    }

    Where x is the post id.

    this actually did not work the way I was wanting, it only took away the meta on the single post page and not the home page.

    The post I am working with is a sticky post on the homepage, and that is where I want the different div classes to disappear… Any more ideas?

    You need to find the id (in the html) for that post in the home page (using something like firebug), and then change it like so:

    #myid .class {
    display: none;
    }

    Here’s a link to a screencast on how to use Firebug: http://css-tricks.com/video-screencasts/15-introduction-to-firebug/
