I would like to use a shortcode as a placeholder for a formatted block of text. By placing the shortcode at the bottom of each page I will be able to update the box of text on all pages by making the edits in one place.

I’ve looked at all of the shortcodes that come with the plugin, but they all require you to place your text within the opening/closing shortcodes, which defeats the purpose since I would still have to go into each page and update every page if I wanted to change the default text at the bottom of the page.

Is this something that can only be accomplished using custom page templates or am I missing something with the available shortcodes? Thanks in advance.
