Support » Networking WordPress » Any valid address with no www redirects to homepage

  • I recently moved a site from one host to another. Everything went well, with one large exception. At this point, if you type in any valid url for our site (http://www.mbbc.edu) without the www, you are automatically re-directed to the homepage. We did not make any changes in the code to make this happen.

At this point, we have tried an htaccess rewrite rule, changing the addresses in the database, and using a redirect in the wp-config file. Nothing has been successful.

We have a 10 site WordPress network with sub-directory sites. Does anyone know of a thread somewhere that may help with this?

What’d you try? There are a couple variants on this one.
