    This is an awesome plugin!

I’m working on some tweaks and wondering if you had some documentation out there (or maybe a pro version we could support this further?).

    I’m trying to:

1] Only have 5 star reviews (remove the 6,7th stars)
2] Re-order the single review layout (where is this file in your plugin?)
3] Batch upload with CSV (would be cool to be able to change all my existing WC reviews in to your format!)

    Cheers.

  • Hey @seanaus120, thanks for the message and the love. Right now we don’t have a pro version. I’ll answer your questions in order:

    1) We intentionally created this plugin /w a 7 star review system. While the intention was always to ONLY allow 7 stars, I’ll discuss with the team and see if this is something we’d like to make variable in the future.

    2) The individual review template is located here: /templates/single-product-reviews.php — It calls each part of the review display (since there are multiple parts). Each section has its own filter offering an “override” which will completely replace the markup. All of the code rendering each little part is found here: /includes/display/view-output.php so depending on what part(s) you want to tweak or modify, you should be able to find the filter or area to handle it. That said, additional documentation on available filters is on the roadmap.

    3) We’re ingesting this suggestion as a feature request and will discuss /w the team!

Awesome. Thanks for the detailed response. I can take it from there.

I actually like 7 star reviews but I’m working on a site in the women’s cosmetics industry and all other competitors use 5-stars so I need to be standardized with them. They are viciously series about reviews in this industry :-0

This is the gold standard for a reviews layout – https://www.glossier.com/products/boy-brow which I’m using your plugin to build.
