[Resolved] Any practical way to create overlapping blogs?

  • I have two blogs on the same domain that are doing fine as individual installs of WordPress:

    sfw: bluemoonrising.com\
    Nsfw: bluemoonrising.com\lucidskin\

Is there any practical way — short of duplicating entries — that I can incorporate the root/sfw content into the subdirectory/Nswf blog?

I’m sure i’d have to merge them into one blog, and vaguely grasp some of the problems of category-based theme customizations, but I can’t think of a way to keep Nswf categories out of the sfw category list, short of PHP necromancy.

Has this ever been accomplished with WordPress? If not, where should I start?

    Thanks!
    -Jeff

ps: i don’t want to require registration. 🙂

    Check out the Syndication Plugins.

They take the RSS feed from Blog A and add it to Blog B — either as sidebar content (like a list of titles) or as actual posts. There are some examples of both methods listed there.

Syndication sounds a whole lot better than the crazy I was talking… thanks!
