Any plugins or hacks that give a common backend for multiple installs of wp?

Just wondering if anybody has a plugin or hack that gives either a common backend for multiple installs of wp, or just some kind of common starting point to make it a little easier to access the different installs from one place.

    Thanks

No, I spent a week playing with MU and it doesn’t work the way I need it too. Yes, it allows control of multiple blogs from one backend, but there are many other features and functionality that you can’t do with MU, and requires instead multiple installs of standard WP.

    Thanks
