    Hi there,

First off, this is by far the best microcomment plugin i’ve seen since Andy abandoned his MCEngine years ago. I’ve tested it thoroughly and am impressed with the elegance.

My problem is that i maintain a rather large site (thousands of pages). A lot of those pages don’t need micrcomments, while an equally large number does. I would therefore like to know if you are planning on implementing a page specific override to the sitewide plugin.

    Thanks.

    Hi,

yes, I’m going to implement such a feature.
It’s one of the next things to come 🙂

    Best regards,
    Kevin

I’m adding a request for this feature in the context of archive pages, e.g., a home page that displays a list of recent posts. One does not want the inline comment functionality to appear until the entire post is loaded. Let me know if there’s possibly a setting I could make to disable on archive pages.

    Hi Jim,
you can use specific selectors so that the bubbles are only displayed on single pages. When you send me a link to your site, I can suggest a selector.

Thanks! Yes, I suspected a selector, but haven’t tried those yet. For now, check out our trial site on which we are also testing PressForward for content curating, and have installed a number of ancillary comments plugins. If we could simply address the home page issue (which displays recent posts by default), that’d be sufficient for now; later we would indeed want to exclude pages vs. posts.

    Regards,

    Jim P.
