Any plan to support newer Font Awesome icon set?

    Hi Joe.
    Aren’t you planning to update the version of Font Awesome you’re using?
    I see Waymark is still using the 4.7, but I discovered they’ve reached version #6 (with so many more icons available)…

    You should also update the “Font Awesome” link in the “Markers” settings page, because it is linked to a page that does not exist anymore (now it brings to the homepage, where I discovered that there is a version 6). The new page to link is this one: https://fontawesome.com/v4/icons/

    Hi @mistermagoo8691,

    Thanks for reaching out. Odd, the existing link works fine for me.

    No immediate plans to upgrade, but possibly at some point.

    Now HTML Icons have been added to Waymark you have access to many more options. For example, if your site used Unicode you should be able to use any of these icons, by simply copying and pasting. I haven’t experimented with this too much, but this should open up many more icons without the need for additional code to be bundled with the plugin.

    Because you can specify HTML here, you could also use this option to integrate any other library (including Font Awesome v6).
