Any good software/script to aggregate RSS feeds?

    I’m looking for a good “planet” software to aggregate feeds and integrate into WordPress. I found this:

    http://lists.planetplanet.org/mailman/listinfo/devel

    but it is running on Python and I have tried many times to install and I can’t figure out many things. Does anyone know if there are PHP types of “planet” software that aggregates feeds?

    It does not necessarily need to be a plugin for WP. I can always use includes or other means to get it into my blog. I just really need a PHP/MySQL solution.

    Any ideas? Sorry to bump, but it’s been a month. I checked laughingmeme’s plugin, but it seems similar to the built-in RSS displayer in WP. I need an aggregator similar to the planet above, but better.

    Or, if someone has good instructions on how to install planet, pls let me know. I’ve already scanned the web and their site… 🙁

    I just searched for ‘feed aggregator planet php‘ and found Gregarius… Is that what you were looking for?

    Yup, I have been playing with Gregarius for a while on the side. It’s a big project and doesn’t do things as smoothly as I want–too clunky.

    However, about 30min ago someone IM’ed me details of this project/plugin and I already downloaded it and am playing with it. It is quite simple, but has some nice features. The only thing it is missing is the ability to filter the results based on keywords:
