Any effect on Multisite ?

    Hello !

    I want to use this plugin on a multi-site Installation and would like to know if it causes any change in server load. Because a Multi-Site normally runs slow because of the numerous plugins we use and I want to know if it this plugin causes any effect on that

    Does anybody have idea if this plugin affects the Site load/access speed?

    Hi,

    I haven’t tested it on a multisite setup. If you’re using a caching solution (eg WP Supercache) there would be no load whatsoever because the markup is simple html (fbml) and the content is then loaded asynchronously from facebook.

    If the php for every post is executed everytime, the plugin basically checks if the like-button/comments are allowed to be displayed at that particular location (home, search, category, tags, single post/page etc) against the settings values in the options db table. My guess is that this shouldn’t cause any noticeable impact on the server load but as I said I haven’t tested it on wp ms setup. If you find out anything please let me know.
