# another wordpress?

 * hey
    i already have wordpress installed on one of my undersites of the main page
   i am running and now i wonder how and if it is possible to use wordpress again
   to create another webpage for another section that should be under the mainpage?
   should i install another wordpress into the ftp so that it gets its own folder
   or may i create another one in the one i have (but i want a different name of
   it!)

 * thank you for the help and yes, i have spent the day looking through this but
   still no success…
    when i uploaded the new wp folder the old one i had stopped
   working! and it was impossible to get the installation working on the new one…
   the wp-config didnt want to work though it already existed… hmhmhm….?

 * Are you sure you aren’t making this more complicated than it has to be? What 
   kind of “page” and “section” do you want? You might be able to just create a 
   WordPress Page or set up a category to pull the data you want displayed in that
   other “section.”

 * but i do not want to use the same name as i have given the current wordpress-
   section.
    EG. current place where i use wp is (the name of the wp folder was 
   turned into onlineshop when installing it into the ftp) XXX.com/onlineshop
 * on my new area i want the domain to be XXX.com/gallery
    and then here use the
   same structure and layout as already is made for the onlineshop…

 * You want two separate installs of WordPress then. The original being in the /
   onlineshop folder and the new one in the /gallery folder. You can copy the theme
   over if you want so that they appear seamless. Is that what you mean? But it’s
   not a ‘section’. It’s a whole other site.

 * yes, something like that. not a whole other site though but a subdivision of 
   the mainsite XXX.com
    bot /onlineshop and /gallery are subdivisions of the head
   site. then is installing another wordpress and copy the theme over the best sollution?
