Another Update is Currently in Progress – Need Help to Resolve

    Hi everyone,

    I’m currently facing an issue on my WordPress website where I see the message “Another Update is Currently in Progress” when trying to update WordPress core.

    Here are the details:

    • WordPress Version: 6.6.2
    • Theme: Astra
    • Hosting Provider: Bluehost
    • Steps Taken:
      1. I waited for more than 15 minutes, but the message didn’t go away.
      2. I cleared the cache and refreshed, but the issue persists.
      3. I deactivated all plugins, but the problem still exists.

    Questions:

    • Is there a way to manually clear the update lock without breaking my site?
    • Could this issue be related to a plugin or theme conflict? How can I debug this?
    • Any suggestions to prevent this from happening again during future updates?
