Support » Theme: Mantra » Another presentaton page slider hang-up

  • I also have a slider hanging up. I am using latest version of WordPress and Mantra. I used this theme on my localhost and it worked fine. I used it again with online server and it works fine when I preview from the WordPress dashboard. However, not when I go to the site via a browser.

    Site is:

I have tried the possible solutions I found here and to no avail. I do have presentation page “enabled” and front page displays “your latest posts”.

I have optimized my images used in slider for web use and I set the dimensions of the slider different than the default. I must be missing something.

    Thank you for any help.

  • This was my solution, which is to change the capitalization of the prettyPhoto subdirectory:

    ….wp-content/plugins/reflex-gallery/scripts$ mv prettyphoto prettyPhoto/

This worked on my mac because my mac is set up to be compatible with Windows; therefore, my mac is not case sensitive. I moved to a linux server, which is case sensitive.

The clue came from my /var/log/apache2/error.log messages:

[Tue Dec 25 12:18:26 2012] [error] [client] File does not exist: /var/www/wp-content/plugins/reflex-gallery/scripts/prettyPhoto, referer:

Note that it cannot find “…prettyPhoto” with a capital Photo.
