• Plugin puts too many nag notices in wp dashboard asking for feedback.

Really annoying if you use the plugin on several sites.

To add insult to injury, the feedback form doesn’t even work: “The form was unable to submit. Please contact the site administrator.”.

I will be looking for alternatives and definitely never buy from SendLayer.

    Hi @hussong

Thank you for taking the time to share your honest feedback about your experience with Easy WP SMTP.

We’re genuinely sorry to hear that your experience led to you seeking an alternative, but we’d still like to address the points you mentioned.

Within our Miscellaneous Settings lies the ability to disable announcements, notices, and the dashboard widget.

As for your second issue, we find it very strange that the feedback form was not working for you. I have informed our developers about this in case there is a particular reason for this issue.

Again, we apologize for the less-than-ideal experience so far, but please know that the primary purpose of authenticating emails to improve email deliverability via authenticating with an SMTP service is still present in Easy WP SMTP.

Thank you for your prompt reply and the kind words, I appreciate it.

Thanks for pointing out the ways to disable the unwanted features via settings.

While this helps on a single site, it can still be a showstopper for users who run this plugin on many sites, where dashboard screen space and website admin time can become precious.

Maybe your team could consider making new features and widgets opt-in instead of opt-out?
