Another CRASH in WP Forms plugin

    Plugin crashes on a standard workflow. These are the steps:

    1. WP Reset plugin is used to reset site to initial state.

    2. WP Forms installed on clean WordPress site manually in Plugins screen. DO NOT ACTIVATE IT.

    3. Delete WP Forms in Plugin screen.

    4. Log file contains such error:

    This is standard workflow, plugin is installed, plugin is removed. It was not activated, but there is a CRASH.

    We’ve had over 1M users upgrade to WPForms 1.5.9 since last week, and by most accounts this have gone smoothly and as expected.

    We have seen a few users encounter issues, which needs to be independently investigated, and we are more than happy to help with.

    I have same issue, installs and when activated WP crashes, not even WP dashboard shows up to fix from admin, so only deleting via FTP or Cpanel, the “wpforms-lite” folder created inside wp-content/plugin fixes the error. So the plugin itself its quite useless at this stage.

    If you’re willing, could you try to enable debugging within your site to log any error message when the plugin is activated?

    You can then share the error message with us in a new post so we can take a closer look.

    Hi,
    i am having the same issue. everytime i am trying to activate WP-Forms, my site gertting crashed.

    Same here, get this error after WP & plugins upgrade:

    Hi @jendabek,

    When you get the chance, could you try logging into your WordPress admin area and navigate to the Scheduled Actions page using the URL below (please replace example.com with your site domain)

    https://example.com/wp-admin/tools.php?page=action-scheduler

    On that page, please check if there are any entries. Then when you get the chance, please create a new post in our support forum and let us know.
