http://www.recoveryfarmhouse.com is my website. I was creating a sitemap on google webmaster and it showed me “linked sites” so I clicked on one of the two names called- divorcethrumediation.com and my website showed up under that name (the other was secureserver.net). But its more than linked if I type in the address bar divorcethrumediation.com my recoveryfarmhouse.com webpage comes up?? I have no affiliation with divorcethrumediation.com.
I don’t understand is this some kind of hack job? or did this website maybe have a link to my site at one time idk I am trying to reason it out in my mind. Or maybe its a dns issue that godaddy messed up? Any ideas anyone? Thanks

webmaster shows me “anchor text” and “how your data is linked” maybe I should just delete my linked webpages. Ironically one of them is me advertising how secure my website is. Gosh I hope I haven’t been hacked.

I really don’t think you have been hacked, but I agree that it’s odd.

    Here’s some slightly re-assuring results: http://sitecheck.sucuri.net/results/recoveryfarmhouse.com

I say slightly because you have an outdate cPanel which your hosting provider should update, but your site shows no signs of typical exploits.

From what I can tell via a traceroute, divorcethrumediation.com is simply forwarding and masking to recoveryfarmhouse.com. It’s not a security concern at all, it’s just weird.

For example, you could go through your domain registrar to forward and mask recoveryfarmhouse.com to google.com. If people then went to recoveryfarmhouse.com, they would be re-directed to google.com, but their URL would still say recoveryfarmhouse.com until they navigated to any page within Google. It can be done, it’s really not malicious, but why would you do it? 🙂

So, whomever has divorcethrumediation.com is really just doing the same thing, forwarding and masking it to recoveryfarmhouse.com.

Are you absolutely sure you don’t own, or know anyone who owns, divorcethrumediation.com?

If you are sure, I guess someone out there is just sending you some free traffic for now (or they were hacked). Either way, you really have nothing to worry about. 🙂

MacMan X thank you so much for checking it out for me. As a matter of fact when I ran a scan after the heartbleed thing happened it showed me my cpanel is outdated. When I asked godaddy to update it they told me there is no update yet available and that they would tell me when it comes out. I will check back into that. But yes totally weird and I do appreciate the extra traffic. Maybe its providence??

So I guess I won’t delete the connected pages….yet. Well I did delete one of them. Anyway thanks again.
