I’m also having issues with the plugin causing issues with my product edit page.

It removes the text and details from the first test box and doesn’t allow the page to open a media box when clicking on ‘add product gallery images’

I only really wanted the plugin to have messenger on my site to make it easier for customers to contact me but I’ve had to leave it deactivated now until a fix is found.

All the products on my site are variable.

  • Me too, when I edit a product category I get this error at the top of the page and the edit page does not load in properly.

Fatal error: Allowed memory size of 268435456 bytes exhausted (tried to allocate 4096 bytes) in /homepages/34/d644092781/htdocs/clickandbuilds/CustomCarpRigs/wp-content/plugins/facebook-for-woocommerce/includes/Products/FBCategories.php on line 47

I have deactivated the FB plugin for now and all is working as it should

    Hi @chipshill,

Thanks for reaching out. Happy to help you with this!

I’m sorry to hear that the plugin was giving you trouble when trying to update your products. I believe that this particular issue was fixed in one of the last couple of updates.

Would you please make sure that your Facebook for WooCommerce plugin is up-to-date and try again? The latest version is 2.1.4.

    Thanks,
    Marcus

    Hi @bencox,

Thanks for reaching out about the plugin. I’m sorry to hear that you are experiencing an issue as well.

While it is possible for any plugin to cause an “allowed memory” error, it is often the result of a server not having enough memory available for the site.

Since you’re not the person who originally started this topic then, per the forum guidelines, would you please start your own topic? We’ll be more than happy to help there 🙂

    Thanks,
    Marcus

    I also have 2.1.4

    Hi @chipshill,

Thank you for letting me know. What you described in your original topic sounds like you might be experiencing a script conflict, likely javascript.

Would you please check your browser’s developer console and see if there are any errors there when you are looking at a product’s edit page? If you’re not sure how to do that, this article should point you in the right direction.

    Thanks,
    Marcus

    Hey @chipshill,

It has been a while since we heard from you, so I’m going to mark this topic as resolved. If you’re still experiencing issues and haven’t already reached out to us directly, please take a look at our documentation for more information and create a new thread if you have further questions.

    Thanks,
    Marcus
