# Announcement Plugin

 * I want to add a simple announcement plugin to my site at [http://www.catholictravelblog.com](http://www.catholictravelblog.com).
   I am pretty new to WP so I want to do it right. It will be used for announcing
   certain events held at various locations around the world, with a start date 
   and end date. I will either add it to my categories section or just put it on
   my home page, not sure which would be best at this time. I know there are a couple
   of these plugins available but wonder if anyone has suggestions as to what the
   best one would be.
