I would use animate.css – had you thought of that solution? Also, how is the search coming along for a solution? Please advise.

David, Thanks for your suggestion. I’m hoping to find a way for a student intern to maintain the site for my client so I need it to be a simple process. So far no luck finding a WP plugin.

    I think I found you a solution.

In the WordPress plugin repository, there is a plugin called Animate it!
One you have installed the plugin, activated the plugin, and are ready to create a post, you will find in the toolbar of the text box an icon to animate your post entry / page entry. It looks like a pencil with an asterisk nearby and should display the tooltip “Animate It!” with mouseover.

I tested the plugin and the “InfiniteIn” option performs the animation that you are trying to achieve. If you need help setting it up I would be happy to help you. Does it work for you?
