Animated GIFs do not get thumbnails?

    Thanks for this awesome plugin!

    When a post has an animated GIF for featured image, the thumbnail isn’t properly created – there’s just a small white square (edit: it’s image not found icon, actually) as a placeholder, smaller than the thumbnails. Is there an option to exclude GIFs?
