Yesterday I copied and pasted an animated GIF (a clock) into a post. It worked perfectly but 24 hours later there was just a box where the clock was that said the GIF had expired. What’s up with that? Today I replaced the animated GIF with one that is very similar but I’m concerned that it will also expire.

    Thanks.

  • I would suggest that you be very careful when adding such files to your site. If you did not create it in a secure environment, it could be insecure. So, the answer I can best give, is ‘don’t do that’.

Thanks for your reply. I have made some adjustments and had a programmer friend recreate the gif for me in a safe enviroment.
