Hi @groovyx9, this is enabled by security design. A failing plugin update is an issue that can not be ignored. If one of the plugins is failing to update, a better solution would be to turn off the auto-update for that plugin (So you don’t receive the e-mail with the fail warning for that plugin). After the plugin is fixed, you can turn on auto-update for that plugin again.

I’d also like to disable failed update notifications.
My use case is that I have a plugin, WPBakery (https://wpbakery.com/), that came bundled with a theme I purchased, Shopkeeper (https://themeforest.net/item/shopkeeper-ecommerce-wp-theme-for-woocommerce/9553045).
The plugin fails to update because I don’t have a stanalone licence for it, and the plugin doesn’t have the option to disable auto updates.
When the theme updates, the bundled plugin updates as well, but the plugin updates much more frequently than the theme does, so I’m stuck with constantly getting nagged about a failed update, about which there’s nothing I can do and is perfectly fine as is.
I understand how disabling this notification could have serious implications, but you could attach a dire warning and disclaimer to it, like you do with the admin password reset notification.
With this use case in mind, would you consider adding the option to disable failed uodate notifications as well?
