Support » Fixing WordPress » Anchors not working on different pages

  • Hello everyone.
This time I’m having a small problem but cannot find a solution.

I’m working on a landing page. In included anchors and I put the links in the navigation bar, so clicking scrolls the page down to the desired contents.

I also created a blog page, where the client can every week publish additional contents… problem is that when I am on the blog page the links to the anchors don’t work.
Basically at the end of the landing page I have a contact form, and in the navbar I have the link “contacts” that scrolls the page down to the form. It woerk if you are in the same page, but it doesn’t on other pages.

Is there a way to link the form from other pages in a way that when you clickl contacts from the blog page you are automatically sent to the landing page already scrolled?

    Many thanks for your help!!!

Please provide a link to a page on your site where we can see this. Thanks.

Hi Steve… I wish I could but I’m working on this on local as we haven’t bought the webspage yet. 🙁

Make sure that the links in your menus are “fully qualified”. That is https://example.com/page/#anchor rather than just #anchor.

I need to double check it… I come from the hard coding world and sometimes I have to “re learn” stuff while working with wordpress 🙂

I tried and it worked really well 🙂
Thak you so much for your help!!!!
