Hi Andy,
What is the URL of the Anchor feed you imported into PowerPress?
@shawnogordo – sorry about the delayed response. Here is the RSS feed.

Does this work? Thanks!

Hi Andy,
Thanks for the link. By “meta description” on the page here:
https://andynathan.net/blog-2/
Are you referring to the text that appears underneath the post titles? If so, try this:
1.) Log in to your WordPress site
2.) Go to PowerPress >> Settings >> Website tab; click the PowerPress Shortcodes link on the left
3.) Scroll down to the Having Issues? section dropdown menu. choose the first option in the menu (Yes, please try to fix) and click the Save Changes button at the bottom of the page
4.) Clear any site caches, if applicable
5.) If the problem persists, go back to the Having Issues? dropdown menu and choose the next option, repeating the process described above; if the second option doesn’t fix the problem, cycle thru all of the remaining options in the menu
If you exhaust all of the options in the menu and the problem remains, let me know.
I will try it tonight. Not able to access my site right now. Thanks for the help! Will keep you posted.
@shawnogordo I cycled through the options you mentioned above and it did not work. What somewhat helped was that in the Blog Posts and Pages setting under the website tab I displayed the media and links below the page content. That is not ideal if I want to create longer content but works for now.
The only issue is the latest post still shows the URL. The rest are fixed.

Hi Andy,
Thanks for the update. The reason that media player code shows on that page is due to how your WordPress theme handles excerpts. Since none of the choices in the Having issues? menu helped, you may want to contact the developer of your site’s theme for support. Also, ensure PowerPress, all other plugins, core WordPress, and your WordPress theme are all up to date, as out of date components can sometimes cause unusual behavior like this.
It’s possible that the media player code is still displaying for the first episode in the list because the episode description is short and doesn’t fill up the entire space WordPress uses to generate excerpts.
@shawnogordo I reached out to my theme developer. Everything is up to date. Also, putting in some more content for the first post.
