Anchor Tag Attribute Disappearing

i know there was a lot of work done prior to 3.5 release to fix embed issues in the editor. i found one that others may encounter, as well. Twitter recommends that users set a custom width=”” attribute for an anchor tag when styling a twitter feed (see https://dev.twitter.com/docs/embedded-timelines). However, this attribute disappears after page updates or switching between Text/Visual mode. Can anything be done about this? Thanks!
