• Hello,

First of all, I love this plugin! It’s easy to use and configure.

However, I am dealing with one problem:

When I use the plugin in a widget, like the main sidebar, the anchor links won’t work. I already tried the following:

    1. Insert “Table of Contents” Widget automatically inside Main Sidebar.
    2. Insert “Table of Contents” shortcode in a Text Widget inside Main Sidebar.
    3. Insert “Table of Contents” shortcode in Custom HTML widget inside Main Sidebar.

When I go to a page where the main sidebar is active, the table of contents is visible, but when I click on a chapter/link, the page does not jump to that chapter/link.

Anchor links do work when the Table of Contents is placed inside a post or page manually. In addition, the widget anchor links also work when the Table of Contents was already placed on a post or widget page manually. But this is not a good solution because in this case, you have two table of contents that are exactly the same.

Ideally, I’d want the Table of Contents widget option to work because that way, I don’t have to enter it everywhere manually, and that way, I can make the Table of Contents “sticky” when a user scrolls.

Last question: custom appearance doesn’t seem to work when the Table of Contents is active inside a widget. It only seems to work when I place it inside a post or page manually.

I have the latest version of the plugin and wordpress.

Any help would be greatly appreciated!
