# Analytics / tracking for WordPress plugins..??

 * I recently launched my first WordPress plugin. I can see the number of downloads
   from the WP plugin directory page, but that doesn’t tell me how many people actually
   installed it and are using it. Is there any way to get this sort of data?
 * Even better, a way to see sites that have the plugin installed and are using 
   it?
 * I guess I could build some sort of a callback in the plugin to add logging in
   my own server, however, I’d rather avoid that sort of thing if possible.
 * Any information on this would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!
