[Resolved] analytics code saying it's not installed when it is

  • I’m not new to manually installing analytics code. I’ve been doing this for years. I am new to child themes so I’m not sure if that’s the problem. I’ve added the analytics code to my child theme (twentyeleven) footer and analytics is saying that it’s not installed.

I know it takes 24 hours for the stats to show up but normally google picks up the code immediately.

I’ve tried it in the footer, header, and functions file but it’s still saying it’s not installed. When I view the source code of my page, it’s there.

    I’m stumped…

    Any thoughts?

    Thanks,
    Bob
