Hi. Hope this isn’t too much of a Newb question. Just created my first site with WordPress on Dreamhost. I think it was my hosting company that suggested I used Docket Cache. It certainly helped with speed of my site but I keep getting a message when I am in plugins.

The first The Object Cache add-in file object-cache.php is not a W3 Total Cache drop-in. Remove it or disable Object Caching. If I remove it, I get get the message The Object Cache add-in file object-cache.php is not a W3 Total Cache drop-in. Remove it or disable Object Caching. Is this a plugin conflict or since its “unknown” should I not install it?

    Thank you.

    Hi there,

The notice is from the W3 Total Cache plugin. Docket Cache cannot be used with other Object Caching plugins. By design, WordPress only allows one drop-in file at a time.

If you want to use Docket Cache, please disable the W3 Total Cache Object Cache option on “General Settings -> Object Cache”

    Thanks.
